Maharaja Ganga Singh University ( MGSU ) is a
university situated at Bikaner and was established in 2003 by the
Government of Rajasthan. It was formerly known as University of Bikaner.
Around 250 colleges are affiliated with it and all these colleges are
from the district of Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner and Sriganganagar. It
offers higher education in various faculties and departments. It is the
best university of Rajasthan.
Aplications in a prescribed format are invited by MGSU Bikaner for various teaching and non teaching positions. 2 posts are for Professors for the Computer Science and Micro Biology under the pay scale of Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with grade pay of Rs. 10000/-. 5 vacancies are for the post of Associate Professors for the discipline of History, English and Computer Science with salary under the pay scale of Rs. 37400 – 67000/- and Rs. 9000/- as grade pay. 2 posts are for Assistant Professors for the discipline of Computer Science with pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/- plus grade pay of Rs. 6000/-. 1 post is for Librarian with the same pay scale.
Ph.d degree is necessary for all the faculty positions with the relevant experience. But candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professors should also have cleared NET [ National Eligibility Test ]. While for the post of Librarian, masters degree in library with NET is required.
A new vacancy notice has now been published in the official website of MGSU for the recruitment of LDC and Class IV staffs. Only Indian Citizens can apply online and last date to apply is 25th October 2011 after applying online, printout of the application form has to be send before 31st October 2011.
33 vacancies are for the post of Lower Division Clerk [ LDC ] with pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200/-. For this post, candidates age should be 18 – 35 years and should posses the certificate of intermediate examination .
25 posts are for Class IV Staffs under the pay scale of Rs. 4750 – 7550/-. Candidates applying for this post should not be less than 18 years of age and should have passed at least 8th class.
