Indian Ordnance Factory

Indian Ordnance Factory [ IOF ] was established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence. It is basically for the production of arms, equipments for both civilians and military. At present, near about 40 factories, 9 training institutions and 3 regional marketing centres are running under Indian Ordnance Factory Board. Its head office is located at Kolkata. It is an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified company. Its branch of Ordnance Factory, Ambajhari has won 3 times “ Golden Peacock National Quality Award “.

Indian Ordnance Factory invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill the vacant posts in its organization. Candidates should sent all the attested relevant certificates along with application form in a prescribed format before 6th September 2011.

Total 175 posts are offered out of which 165 posts are for Machinist, 6 posts are for Welder and 4 posts are for Electrician. Candidates should be less than 32 years and even more than 18 years of age. Candidates applying for this post should be 10th pass and should posses NCTVT certificate in the relevant field.

Selected candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/-  along with grade pay of Rs. 1800/-.
Selection will be based on written test and after that shortlisted candidates will be called for a trade test / practical test.

Bureau of Indian Standards [ BIS ] was founded in 1947 by the Government of India under the aegis of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. It was formerly known as Indian Standards Institution. It is related to standardization, product & system certification, hallmarking of precious jewellery, laboratory testing and etc. in India. At present, it has 8 laboratories for product certification. It also formulates Indian Standards. Its head office is located at New Delhi. 

BIS is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience as as mentioned in advertisement published in its official website. BIS invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Scientists ‘ B ‘. Interested and eligible candidates can apply ONLINE only from 20th August 2011 to 9th September 2011.

Total 115 vacancies are available for the post of Scientists ‘ B ‘ under the pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with grade pay of Rs. 5400/-. All the posts are for the discipline of Mechanical / Metallurgy, Civil, Food / Microbiology / Biochemistry, Electrical / Electronics, Computer Science / Computer Engineering. For this post, graduation in the relevant discipline is very essential. Candidates age should not be more than 27 years and even not less than 21 years as on the closing date of application.

Selection will be based on written test and then interview. Written test will consist of 2 parts that is Part I and Part II of total duration of 2.30 hours. All the questions will be of objective type. Centre of examination will be Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi and Guwahati.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College [ DDUC ] was formed on August 1990 in the memory of a well known social worker – Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. It is a constituent college of Delhi University and is funded by the Government of NCT of Delhi. It is in New Delhi. It provides degree of all business and management education at under graduate and post graduate levels. It operates all its functions with the motto of “ Truth Alone Triumphs ‘. 

DDUC had released an advertisement no 1/2011 in its official website and through this, it invites applications form Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant Professors. Interested and eligible candidates can send applications before 5th September 2011 in a prescribed format.

25 posts are offered for Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in the discipline of Business studies, Commerce, Chemistry, Botany, English, Zoology, Mathematics and Computer Science. Candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- along with academic grade pay of Rs. 6000/-. Candidates should have Master Degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject from recognized University and should have cleared the NET conducted by UGC / CSIR for this post unless they have Ph.D degree from University Grants Commission.
